The new measure allows adults 21 and older to “possess, purchase, and share with other adults up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis and up to 15 grams of concentrate and “cultivate up to six plants (with no more than 12 plants per residence.” Additionally, The Division of Cannabis Control, created under this new measure also introduced regulations for the packaging and labeling of marijuana products.
Under the new measure, Ohioans aged 21 and older can now:
- Possess and Purchase: Up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis flower and up to 15 grams of cannabis concentrate.
- Cultivate: Up to six plants per individual, with a maximum of 12 plants per residence.
- Share: Cannabis with other adults in a private setting.
